Knights of Dark Jurai
Over the passage of time Dark Jurai has had many knights, the greatest number at any one time was during the age of exile under the training of Kour, before the fall of Astual, which totaled well over a 100. However between Astuals fall, which divided many of the ranks, the curruption of Kour and his elite campinons and the shikana wars, very few knights remain.
Its also worth noting that after the curruption that befell so many knights of old that the deceions of those who where to be promoted faced a much higher cailbur. Things such as honor, loyalty, understand and intellgence held positions equaly as high as power and martial prowess.
Akumu Kuroi - Knight General
The Knight General of the Dark Juraian army, Akumu earnt his promtion in the age of the first shikana war when he singal handedly defended a town from untold legions of the foul beasts until reinforcements arrived. Over time he has matured and improved upon his ability and ascended into the ranks of the Arch Angels. A man who would much rather be a farmer is one of the greatest commanders to the Dark Jurai.
Abilites: Akumu has many strengths, he is pyschialy powerful, a master of duel wielding two handed swords, he has considerable power over his personal ki and is an expectional healer of himself and others.
Yube - Knight Guardian
Knight of old, daughter of Sekira Dark Jurai, Yube was a knight beside Kour in the time of Astuals fall. She has served in countless wars, has at one time held the position of Empress, and was killed by Kour just before the end of the 2nd Shikana war. Reborn now, Yube is quiet and less active than she once was, still finding her place in the new world.
Abilites: Yube is a master of many weapons, daggers, knives, rapiers, katana etc, she is a powerful use of innate Dark Jurai energy and has developed a unique style that allows her to protect others even as she fights.
Ness - Knight Initate
The only dragon of Dark Jurai blood and power, Ness has a simple, but a heart of quenchable purity and innoence. She earnt her place when she stood against Kour at the end of the shikana war, and in the many battles she faced since then. A gentle soul, she has no tolerance of evil and can become highly destructive when angered.
Abilites: Ness is a dragon and one possesing dark juraian blood, she is psychialy powerful, possive of fire breath and capable of forming 3 large wings of the Dark Lighting Eagle. Where such power came form is still in question.
Terrisa - Knight Initate
General of the Techoren, born with Jurai blood, Terrisa now serves as a Knight of Dark Jurai. Early in her life she discovered a secret lab of the fallen Kour and learned many of his dark secrets, she fell to the insanity and curruption of the Dark God Cain. She launched a personal campagin of death against the Dark Jurai but in its final hours turned to the light and aided the heros in defeating the black god. Her Knighthood was questionable, but it was Emperors way of keeping an eye upon her, and the secrets of Kour she still new. Terrisa now spends her time traveling the empire and researching into its many mysterys.
Abilites: Terrisa is brillent beyond description, her reflex's are literaly lighting sharp and it is belived she can dodge bullets. She has a computer like brain and a nearly flawless memory. She knows some of the greatest secrets of the Dark Jurai and the Techoren.
Shikou - Knight Scion
Son of Kour, Shikou was trained beside Astual like many of the Knights of old. He was taught the arts of the Heavy Arm and the arts of science, it is not known how Shikou avoided the curruption that his Father and many of the knights befall but many think it has to do with the effections that Shikou felt for the Knight Yube. Shikou did not recieve his Knighthood till after the blackcross was dropped destroying many of the past knights. He spent his later years in the wars as fleet admiral and has been personaly resonable in the R&D designs of many of Dark Jurai's lastest warships.
Abilites: Shikou is a master of the Heavy Arm, and like Yube well versed in the use of Dark Juraian power, there is no telling to many of Kours secrets he may have been privy to. An intellgent and cunning man he holds the loyalty of countless worlds.
Yaitarn - Knight Guardian
Yaitarn entered military service in the first shikana war, barly an adult he was lucky to survive the horrors that occured, he showed a natural talent for combat, and a smart tactical mind and saved his and the lives of many others countless times, including the massacre assulat that was the Emperors counter attack. After the war Yaitarn learnt and eventualy became one of the first few masters of the Kage no Ken as taught to him by Anoron. However he earnt his knightship in peace, not war, through his countless efforts to help many recover from its ravages.
Abilites: Yaitarn is fast and an expert warrior in the dueling sword style of speed, he is also a powerful elemental user of air and has used these abilites to enter in and out of combat in a sudden and often suprising fashion.
Teshar - Knight Guardian
A powerful psychic Teshar wished to live in peace and harmony with the existing world about her. When the first shikana wars came she refused to fight for considerable time. Finaly as the fight got closer to home she realised the truth of the war and stepped onto the front lines. With her powerful mental abilites she was able to combat the hive minds and disrupt the fleets of teaming beasts. The war took its toll on her and three times her sanity slipped into question. After the war Teshar slipped from note, until thousands of years later the second war started. She was again, without being asked, upon the front line in the depths of space. When the black nova disabled the Dark Jurian fleet Teshar slipped into a coma for over a year. At the wars end she was promoted to Knight for her selfless service against the ailen minds of the nightmarish beasts.
Abilites: She is a powerful psychic user, both in mental combat and in matter manipulation and reanligment. The Jurai have long feared her abilites to see into the minds of others.
Veshlin - Knight Scion
Knight of old Veshlin served beside Kour mastering her own style even as he mastered his. When the first shikana war came she fought and died like many of the past knights to the power of the black cross as it destroyed the Shikana hiveworlds. When the tainted Kour rose to power, she like many others where reborn as Kashikana, half Dark Juraian, half shikana, there will usurped by Kour's. Yet as the second war drew out Veshlins will became to overpower her shikana half, and freedom was finaly obtained with Kours demise. Since then she has served the Dark Jurai in several wars, the Techoren war, the Yaun Ti, and the Newstar battles. A decidated soldier of the people Veshlin is quiet and withdrawn, some question if she is still soul searching for hte part of herself forever lost to the shikana within.
Abilites: Veshlin has a powerful control over force energies and her transformatoin to a Kashikana has made her faster and stronger than any normal human could dream.
