Ami Elbryn is 5"11" tall, with dark blue eyes and blue-green hair. She is both technically adept and skilled at operating land and air vehicles. She makes it her business to know at least the basic inner workings of any machine she takes responsibility for, and has more than once used this knowledge to help organize chaotic field repairs. She has one older sister, Annah Elbryn, who works as a computer systems engineer for Techoren Industries 3000. Her father, General Lan Elbryn, is commander of the 1st Armored Division, directly under Grand General Ivan Stormrider. Her mother died shortly after her birth.
Always fascinated by the military's war machines, it was no surprise when Ami enlisted at the age of 17. She progressed quickly, training as both as a pilot, and in advanced mechanics. Upon exiting training, Ami was assigned to the testing of new military hardware. Ami is now 24 and possesses the rank of Lieutenant. She has already both flown the most advanced fighters and operated the newest tanks, and takes pride in her ability to pilot or drive virtually anything she gets her hands on.
Ami, while she enjoys fighter craft, is also fond of ground vehicles. She maintains two cars on the Sphere, and typically purchases one on any world she will be assigned to for any length of time, selling it later as she leaves. Her favorite is the Velotek 9000, a popular but relatively inexpensive wheeled sports car with a powerful engine. As the Velotek 9000 is also popular in the racing scene, aftermarket performance parts are typically readily available.
Ami is currently the designated pilot of Neth's MCC, the Redemption. Piloting such a large craft is a new role for her, and isn't necessarily as exciting as piloting a fighter, however she views it as another step on her path to success.
